Dr. Lambert

About Us

Dr. Lambert completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 1998 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  This period of intensive training experiences brought him expertise in the treatment of dentofacial deformities, cranio-maxillofacial trauma, reconstructive surgery, implant surgery, esthetic surgery, maxillofacial pathology, and management of medically compromised patients.  The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the University of Maryland is highly regarded both nationally and internationally for it's faculty, research, and training programs.

Prior to his formal residency training at Maryland, he completed a 1 year internship at The Ohio State University School of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he gained proficiency in sedation techniques and minor oral surgery procedures.   Dr. Lambert practiced general dentistry for 5 years in Chapel Hill after graduating from University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1987.  He completed his undergraduate program receiving a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan in 1980.

Dr. Lambert's professional interests lie in all areas of maxillofacial surgery.  Dr. Lambert has been a highly sought lecturer and authored several articles in major refereed professional journals.

Dr. Lambert is married to his wife of 24 years, Paula Suzanne Lambert, and has 2 daughters, Lane and Mary. The Lamberts reside in Chapel Hill.
